As a working mother myself, I know how important family time is. So at La Jewellery, we like to employ part time staff paying over minimum wage per hour, as this then allows a greater sense of work/life balance.

Our jewellery assemblers are paid on a peace work basis (price per item of jewellery assembled) this then allows them to work from home caring for family members and collecting the little ones from school.

At the moment, I am the only full time member of staff but this is my choice ... La is my baby and she needs me to nurture her. A lot of my design work is done at home, in a quiet space, this means that I can also be there for my family - Stuart, Annastarzzia, Jake and to walk our little dog - Brew, a mad and playful Jack Russell.
